  • The vast stretch of land between British Columbia and Ontario comprises an area known as the Canadian Prairies, a 2,000 km valley of plains, forests, and farmland. Divided into three provinces — Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. .

  • The Prairie Provinces are vast with different tree species stretching across three provinces. Tree species such as Black Spruce, Pine, Birch and Poplar among others. The Prairie Provinces have suffered from forest fires and man made deforestation, planting trees in these provinces will significantly aid in biodiversity and greatly impact CO2 emissions .
